Updates in this Release

This update improves SQL Server data processing, enhances visibility into VMware environments, and continues infrastructure modernization for better performance and maintainability. We’ve also made UI enhancements that support faster license audits and more usable entitlement documentation.

Data Gathering

  • SQL Server Module Support
    Updated SQL Server modules to correctly forward errors when the server name uses the “\” (backslash) notation rather than the “@” notation.
  • Expanded VMware Insight
    Enhanced VMware data processing supports new extended columns and sections to provide greater visibility across vSphere environments.
  • File Cleanup
    Legacy data gathering files are now automatically purged, improving system hygiene and performance.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Platform Modernization
    Additional infrastructure components have been upgraded from Node.js v18 to v22, continuing our move toward a more modern and secure platform foundation.
  • Smarter Licensing Documentation
    • Entitlement supporting documents now provide more granular, specific descriptions about licensing.
    • Users can now visually differentiate between generated descriptions and manually entered content for improved clarity and audit traceability.
  • Improved UI Controls for Licensing Workflows
    • Entitlement document flyouts are now resizable, allowing users to view detailed data more easily.
    • The input area for document descriptions is also resizable to better support editing long text fields.
