Opscompass Release: Accrued Benefit & Nutanix Data Gathering Support

New in Opscompass: track cumulative savings with Accrued Benefit, add Nutanix data gathering, plus bug fixes and UI updates.

Updates in this Release

This update introduces a new way to track your cumulative savings, adds Nutanix environment support, tightens SQL Server compliance checks, and delivers several bug fixes and UI refinements for a smoother experience.

New Features

  • Accrued Benefit
View the total dollar amount of measurable savings since you started using Opscompass—now on the Financial Health Check card of your main dashboard.
  • Nutanix Data Gathering
Configure and collect Nutanix data directly from the Data Gathering settings page to include your AHV environments in Opscompass asset intelligence.

Data Gathering Enhancements

  • Version-Specific SQL Server Compliance
The msql-compliance script now errors out if executed against any SQL Server version other than v15/SQL Server 2019. This ensures CIS Benchmark checks run only on the intended version.
Looking ahead: A dedicated script for SQL Server 2022 will be introduced as adoption grows; older versions remain unsupported for this release.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Oracle Licensing Processing
Fixed blob and tag generation for Oracle container databases to pave the way for migrating resource creation from HoB Tools into Opscompass.
  • Customer-Accessible APIs
Resolved an issue on the Oracle Databases Not Reporting page so all affected databases appear correctly.
  • License Dashboard Visibility
Databases silent for 14+ days now surface as expected on the License Dashboard.
  • Brand-Consistency UI Update
Updated button colors across the application to align with Opscompass branding guidelines.
