Opscompass Release: AI Capabilities in Studio and CLI

This release introduces Opscompass AI capabilities through Studio and the CLI, expands licensing data access through new entitlement APIs, improves Oracle and infrastructure data gathering, and delivers reliability and usability improvements across the platform.

  • Added guest DNS name collection for Nutanix virtual machines to improve matching between database instances, virtual machines, and underlying hosts
  • Improved detection of Oracle database cloning activity when recurring database refreshes generate new DBIDs
  • Automatically replaces previously discovered clones with the latest cloned environment
  • Enhanced Oracle database instance-to-host matching across cloud and virtualized environments
  • Improved association of Oracle feature usage with underlying infrastructure resources
  • Added additional automatic exclusions for common Oracle feature usage scenarios
  • Updated configuration problem notification emails and added Nutanix coverage

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Drift

  • Corrected Acknowledged and Not Acknowledged filtering behavior
  • Updated the default filter state to consistently represent all statuses
  • Improved status filter handling to prevent mismatched filter values
  • Adds focused component coverage for both acknowledgement filter options

Time Zone Handling

  • Fixed off-by-one date issues affecting SQL Server entitlement Purchase Date, Support Start, and Support End fields
  • Improved consistency between entered dates, calendar selections, displayed values, and saved records

Compliance Checks

  • Updated compliance check logic to better identify edge cases and improve result accuracy

External Data Sources

  • Improved processing when external resources are imported concurrently
  • Prevented duplicate organization creation during initial imports
  • Improved recovery of failed scans and enabled retry scenarios

Opscompass Studio

  • Improved setup guidance when company access or data gathering configuration is incomplete
  • Enhanced recovery workflows while preserving local-only data gathering scenarios
